• 15 GB of hard-drive space (or USB stick, memory card or external drive but see LiveCD for an alternative approach)
• 800 by 600 screen resolution
• Either a CD/DVD drive or a USB port for the installer media

  උබුන්ටු මෙහෙයුම් පද්දතියේ නවතම සංස්කරණය ලෙස ඔක්තෝම්බර් 13 දින මෙය නිකුත් කළේය. මෙමැ උබුන්ටු මෙහෙයුම් පද්දතිය සකසා ඇත්තේ අලුත්ම ලිනක්ස් 3.0 කර්නලය  (Linux 3.0 kernel) පාදක කර ගනිමිනි.
